Chambers is 8-2 against the Titans since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Chambers Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Hopewell Titans at 6:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Tuesday, Chambers came up short against the Huskies and fell 51-40.
Meanwhile, Hopewell's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight defeat. They were outmatched by West Charlotte on the road and fell 68-21. Hopewell was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-9.
Chambers has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Hopewell, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-17.
Everything came up roses for Chambers against the Titans in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 43-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chambers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
