Simon Barber Turns in Season-Best Effort
North Decatur was led to victory by Simon Barber, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Barber rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was North Decatur's seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Barber and North Decatur will head out to challenge Edinburgh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Thackery Came Up Big in North Decatur's 33-0 Win
Corbin Thackery's big game helped extend North Decatur's winning streak to seven on Friday. Thackery was dynamite, rushing for 122 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Thackery might just drop another big game when he faces off against Edinburgh on Friday. Thackery rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries the last time he and the Lancers duked it out last Friday.
