For the second straight game, Tallulah Academy will face off against Wilkinson County Christian Academy. The Trojans will host the Rams  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
Tallulah Academy easily dispatched River Oaks on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Trojans fell just short of Wilkinson County Christian Academy by a score of  3-1 on Tuesday.
 Luke Moberley was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Moberley was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Moberley wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Tripp Gayle, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base.  Kennedy Collins also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
 Wilkinson County Christian Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Tallulah Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
