They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 67-35 victory over the Pirates. Abbeville Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 24 points or more this season.
Abbeville Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Javarse Turner dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds and Jp Sowell scored 15 points along with seven steals. Turner has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Buckhannon, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
The victory was the seventh in a row for Abbeville Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 18-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points per game. As for Pickens Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Abbeville Christian Academy will square off against the Saints at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Patrician Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three matchups. Pickens Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
