They were a single  goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a  1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of South Walton. The  game was a  0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Dolphins couldn't quite close it out.
 Choctawhatchee has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-3 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 28  goals over those six  contests. As for Gulf Breeze, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6-3.
 Choctawhatchee beat Gulf Breeze 2-0  in their previous meeting  last Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Choctawhatchee since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
