Albert Gallatin entered their tilt with Carrick on Thursday with four consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 54-30 margin over the Raiders. That's more bragging rights for the Colonials, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Albert Gallatin got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tee Guesman out in front who rushed for 83 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. Guesman is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Bronx Jamison was another key player, rushing for 91 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Albert Gallatin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 285 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carrick only rushed for 17 rushing yards.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Albert Gallatin, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bobby Panos, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Carrick lost, don't look at Kejuan Johnson. Despite the final result, he picked up 95 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Johnson was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 55 yards.

Albert Gallatin's record now sits at 2-0. As for Carrick, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Albert Gallatin has already played their next matchup, a 28-14 win against Connellsville on the 5th. As for Carrick, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-12 defeat against USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy] on the 5th.
