Basketball Recap: Mount Airy Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Mount Airy Christian Academy was the 64-52 winner over Frederick Christian Academy when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Mount Airy Christian Academy took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frederick Christian Academy Defenders. Mount Airy Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stanton is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carson Gilbert, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Mount Airy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Frederick Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
