Payton Travis Delivers Best  Performance of Season
  Payton Travis produced his most outstanding game to date while leading New Plymouth to the win  on Friday. Travis rushed for 265 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (109.3). The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 For the season,  Travis  has averaged 18.9 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after seven games last season,  he had five  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to eight.

Montes Posts Huge Game in  59-0  Victory
  Moises Montes was a major factor in Marsing's  victory over Parma on Friday. Montes turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, while also picking up 31 receiving yards.
 Marsing is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. They and Ririe will meet in a canine-themed contest  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Nampa Christian Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to  Matthew Nevarez
 Nampa Christian picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Matthew Nevarez. Grangeville had no answer to  Nevarez  as he rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Nevarez didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made two total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 For the season,  Nevarez  has averaged 13.5 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after eight games last season,  he had four  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to nine.

Cutler King Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 New Plymouth was led to victory by  Cutler King, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. King picked up 131 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making five total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging   an  interception.
 For the year,  King  has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 46 receiving yards per game.

Jace Chadez Makes It Two for Marsing
 The second Marsing player making an appearance here is  Jace Chadez, and for good reason. He threw for 111 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes.
 Marsing and Ririe will meet in a canine-themed contest  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The last time  Chadez took on the Bulldogs, he threw for 106 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
