Basketball Recap: CHAAMP HomeSchool Gets the Win

If Campbell wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played CHAAMP HomeSchool, they should've done a better job of containing Caelan DeLisi. The CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks came out on top against the Campbell Indians by a score of 61-48 on Tuesday thanks in part to DeLisi, who went 9 for 20 on his way to 22 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2023.

The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Wigley, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

CHAAMP HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Campbell, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the loss, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CHAAMP HomeSchool will square off against Longview Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th. CHAAMP HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season. As for Campbell, they will face off against Miller Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
