Aloha hadn't beaten Century on the road since April 8, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. Aloha walked away with a 7-2 victory over Century. The Warriors' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Hayden Grot made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Grot was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.
In other batting news, Jayden Nakamura was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Joaquin Luna, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Aloha's record now sits at 3-0. As for Century, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
