Cheraw is 9-1 against Central since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Chesterfield, falling 66-46. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Golden Rams: they've now lost nine in a row.

Cheraw will have to contain Jordyn Griffin as she made an impact in Central's last game. She posted 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rielyn Chambers, who had 12 points.

Even though they lost, Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Cheraw's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything came up roses for Cheraw against Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 67-27 win. In that matchup, Cheraw amassed a halftime lead of 42-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
