Kaden Carter's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.
The win (which was Lamar County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will challenge Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Rashod Daniel Leads Putnam County over Towers
Putnam County was led to victory by Rashod Daniel, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He is becoming a predictor of Putnam County's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
This season, Daniel has run in 16 touchdowns while averaging 124.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 58.29 rushing yards per game.

Hardge Came Up Big in Social Circle's 38-19 Victory
Jameccus Hardge's big game helped extend Social Circle's winning streak to three on Friday. Hardge did his part (and then some), rushing for 43 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
If the past is any indication, Hardge could be in store for another big game when he takes on Jasper County on Friday. Hardge rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Hurricanes duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jude Nelson Makes It Two for Social Circle
Another Social Circle player making an appearance on this list is Jude Nelson. He picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 63 yards.
