The Lexington Minutemen will play host again and welcome the Dwight Trojans, where tip off is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
On Monday, Lexington came up short against LeRoy and fell 51-39. Lexington has struggled against LeRoy recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Dwight also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Seneca by a score of 39-26.
Despite the loss, Dwight saw an underclassman step up: Ryan Bean scored eight points.
Lexington has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Dwight, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Lexington was able to grind out a solid win over Dwight in their previous matchup back in February, winning 42-34. Will Lexington repeat their success, or does Dwight have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
