While Prescott's win against Amery wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Warriors 6-5 on Thursday. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Prescott's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Amery, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Prescott will take on Elk Mound at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Mounders will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Amery, they have already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Turtle Lake/Clayton on the 9th.
