The Hamilton Wildcats's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 win over Arlington. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hamilton also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2015.
Hamilton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rodney Mcneal, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Timothy Matthews, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Arlington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on Power Center Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hopefully Power Center Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Friday. As for Arlington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwind at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
