The Terry Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Pearl River Central Blue Devils, and things went their way on Monday too. Terry strolled past the Blue Devils with points to spare, taking the game 46-27. Given Terry's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Terry found their leader in underclassman Madison Jones, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Jones has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times she's played. Elisiah Branson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Terry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Pearl River Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
Terry will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Pearl River Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
