That makes it six consecutive games in which Yates has scored at least 25% of West Craven's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Torvonyah Heggie, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Ayden - Grifton's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for West Craven, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ayden - Grifton will be home for the holidays to greet Spring Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring Creek presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ayden - Grifton in North Carolina (Spring Creek is ranked 221st, while Ayden - Grifton is ranked 539th). West Craven will be home for the holidays to greet Northside - Jacksonville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northside - Jacksonville comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
