The East Windsor Panthers lost against the Ellington Knights back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. East Windsor was the victim of a rough 41-21 loss at the hands of Ellington. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points East Windsor has scored all season.
Despite the loss, East Windsor still got an impressive performance from Nohely Santana, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds. Santana hasn't dropped below 11 rebounds for eight straight games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, East Windsor struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
East Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Ellington, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Windsor won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Granby Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on February 7th. Granby Memorial is coming into the match with four straight victories at home, so East Windsor is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Ellington, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bolton at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Bolton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
