Football Recap: Flomaton Skates Past Chickasaw with Ease

Flomaton won the last time they faced Chickasaw and things went their way on Friday too. The Hurricanes blew past the Chieftains 48-13. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hurricanes had established a 21-point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Flomaton to victory, but perhaps none more so than TJ Hall, who rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Zykenzie Martin was in the mix too, providing the Hurricanes with two scores.

Flomaton pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 22.5 points thus far. As for Chickasaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Flomaton and Chickasaw will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hurricanes are set to face off against their familiar foe Excel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chickasaw will take on rival Blacksher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
