The Buhl Indians will head out on the road to face off against the McCall-Donnelly Vandals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Buhl will be strutting in after a victory while McCall-Donnelly will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Buhl didn't have too much trouble with Filer at home as they won 41-24.
Buhl got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Finley out in front who threw for 162 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Riley Brunson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 59 points the game before, McCall-Donnelly were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were beaten by Homedale 34-7. McCall-Donnelly was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.
Buhl has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for McCall-Donnelly, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Buhl didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against McCall-Donnelly when the teams last played back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 12-6 win. Will Buhl repeat their success, or does McCall-Donnelly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
