Gretna East waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Bellevue East Chieftains by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Griffins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gretna East found their leader in sophomore Brooklyn Beethe, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Gretna East's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bellevue East, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Gretna East has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Platte County on the 30th. As for Bellevue East, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Burke at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
