Miller Grove made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,102 from 6,417.
Mays's Ayinde Russell and Tyshawn Brown have formed a dream team this season, leading AAAAA Region 6 in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Russell has thrown for 811 yards this season, while Brown has 18 catches for 329 yards. Kellyen Walker from Lakeside leads the league in rushing with 440 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Tucker and Stephenson. The Tigers comes into the matchup ranked 19th in the state, while the Jaguars ranks 15th.
Two stand out recruits will be in the spotlight when Tucker and Stephenson meet this week. The Tigers features high profile senior Elisha Shaw while Ron Gartrell's team has Khalil Ladler, a sought after defensive back.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Tucker takes on the Jaguars. The Tigers have allowed 40 points this season, while Stephenson has given up 32.
