Winfield had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Wahama White Falcons by a score of 5-2 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Generals also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Blake Withrow, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Jake Kimble was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Winfield's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Wahama, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
