Jaden Valdez posted a new career-high in runs on Thursday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Perhaps even more impressive was her lead-up to Thursday's contest, in which she outscored her previous point total for three consecutive games.

Coming up, Valdez and Cape Fear have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Douglas Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
