Carson Medina Delivers Best Effort of Season
Carson Medina produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Escalon to the win on Friday. Medina rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Medina and Escalon will venture away from home to square off against Ripon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Medina will face off against Anden Ries, the Indians' star RB. Will the game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Ellerd Posts Huge Game in 28-19 Loss
While Hilmar might've come up empty on Friday, Merek Ellerd wasn't going down without a fight. Ellerd was dynamite, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Hilmar has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. Ellerd and Hilmar will welcome Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cady Came Up Big in Ripon Christian's 43-20 Loss
Ripon Christian was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Amos Cady did his best to prevent it. Escalon had no answer to Cady as he picked up 61 receiving yards, and also rushed for 54 yards.
This season, Cady has averaged 44.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 6.14 receiving yards per game.

Caden Bailey Dazzles in Hilmar Defeat
The second Hilmar player making an appearance here is Caden Bailey, and for good reason. He rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 78 yards.
Bailey might have his next game, a home matchup with Hughson, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Bailey saw the Huskies), he rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry.
