The MOT Charter Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the ASPIRA Charter Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. MOT Charter is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
Last Monday, MOT Charter came up short against the Red Wolves and fell 58-49. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for MOT Charter in their matchups with the Red Wolves: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 97-54, which was the final score in ASPIRA Charter's tilt against the Raiders on Friday. ASPIRA Charter was down 81-45 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Despite the loss, ASPIRA Charter got a solid performance out of Zy'aire Gibson, who scored 32 points. That was a full 59.3% of ASPIRA Charter's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devon Bolden, who scored nine points.
MOT Charter's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for ASPIRA Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
