Adding to the longest winning streak in A Region II this week, Christ Church Episcopal beat St. Joseph's Catholic 52-22. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Cavaliers.
John Walker threw for 353 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 23-38 with 1 interception.
Walker put up the best numbers in passing as Southside Christian beat Whitmire. Walker's favorite target this week was Colby Boggs, who caught 12 passes for 181 yards.
Southside Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Sabres feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Walker has thrown for 1,846 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Boggs has 77 catches for 1,076 yards.
The Sabres' Walker is within 154 passing yards of surpassing 2,000 on the season coming into this week's game against the Knights.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Christ Church Episcopal takes on the Wolverines. Don Frost's team is currently in first, while Whitmire is in fourth.
The Cavaliers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on St. Joseph's Catholic.
