The Riverview Sarasota Rams will square off against the Lemon Bay Manta Rays at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Riverview Sarasota comes in on 12 and Lemon Bay on three.
Riverview Sarasota had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Charlotte on Thursday. Riverview Sarasota never let Charlotte get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Allison Cole, who gave up just five hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Charlotte off the board. Cole has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Makenzie Carcifero, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nicolette Forkan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Riverview Sarasota hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Charlotte struck out 13 times.
Meanwhile, Lemon Bay gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 6-3 win over North Port.
Reagan Altieri spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits.
On the hitting side, Taylor Jones was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Mattie Couture was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
Riverview Sarasota pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lemon Bay, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Riverview Sarasota was able to grind out a solid win over Lemon Bay in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 6-1. Does Riverview Sarasota have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lemon Bay turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
