Chris Germinal Delivers Best Performance of Season
Immokalee was led to victory by Chris Germinal, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Germinal threw for 327 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 83 yards.
The win was the fifth in a row for Immokalee, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Germinal and Immokalee will welcome Gulf Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Immokalee picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jontay Hais. Hais turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 144 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.
On the season, Hais has averaged 17.8 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to 13.

A Season-Best Performance from Solomon Powell Leads Golden Gate over Barron Collier
On Friday, Golden Gate had to settle for second even though Solomon Powell put up the best numbers he has all season. Powell rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Powell and Golden Gate will face off against Palmetto Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Bears, probably because Powell had a solid game then too: he rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Palmetto Ridge found a leader in Steven Rousseau as the squad took down IMG Academy Blue on Thursday. Rousseau was dynamite, making three total tackles. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

Devon Messenger Turns in Season-Best Performance
Devon Messenger put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 61 yards.
Messenger and Palmetto Ridge will square off against Golden Gate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bears had to take a loss when they last met the Titans, but Messenger had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
