Softball Recap: Tunstall Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Tunstall's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the George Washington Eagles get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Tunstall's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for George Washington, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Tunstall and George Washington will both be playing Halifax County the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Trojans will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
