The Unionville Longhorns are on the road again on Saturday and play against the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials at 7:45 p.m. on December 30th. Plymouth Whitemarsh took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Unionville, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Unionville narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Central Dauphin 51-49.
Meanwhile, Plymouth Whitemarsh's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Henderson by a score of 53-50. While losing is never fun, Plymouth Whitemarsh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Henderson is ranked 15th).
Unionville's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Unionville came up short against Plymouth Whitemarsh when the teams last played back in December of 2018, falling 61-49. Can Unionville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
