Wellington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 39-6 victory over the Freedom Patriots. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Wellington's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.3 points over those games. As for Freedom, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Coming up, Wellington will be playing at home against Harmony at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight. Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
