On Friday, the Mission Eagles strolled past the Sharyland Rattlers with points to spare, taking the game 36-22.
Leading Mission to victory were Diego Salinas and Thomas Aparicio. Mission will face off against Vela at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vela will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mission surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sharyland, they will stay at home for another week and welcome Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
