Despite the defeat, San Diego Jewish Academy saw an underclassman step up: Jack Silberstein scored 31 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Silberstein has scored all season. David Feigenbaum was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and two blocks.
Meanwhile, everything went Castle Park's way against the Lancers on Wednesday as the Trojans made off with a 57-33 victory. That's two games straight that Castle Park has won by exactly 24 points.
San Diego Jewish Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Castle Park, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.
San Diego Jewish Academy and the Trojans were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in November of 2021, but the Lions came up empty-handed after a 46-45 loss. Can San Diego Jewish Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
