Papillion-LaVista South took down Omaha South 49-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Drew Klein ran for 223 yards in the win.
Millard South made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,466 from 5,111. The improvement was the result of a 40-13 victory over Benson last week.
Klein was a beast in the backfield as the Titans defeated the Packers.
JAYDEN SWENSEN threw for 186 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 17-29 with 2 interceptions.
Klein was a passing and rushing force as Papillion-LaVista South topped Omaha South.
TYREE PETER made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bunnies lost to the Patriots. The 6-foot-4 senior grabbed 2 sacks.
Klein was the best running back in A District 3 this week. He ran for 223 yards on 15 carries as Walt Olsen's team lost to Millard South. Luke Sellers also contributed to the rushing game with 95 yards on the ground.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Tony Kobza's team's SWENSEN and PETER have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback SWENSEN has thrown for 1,471 yards this season, while PETER has 40 catches for 604 yards. Klein from the Titans leads the league in rushing with 1,755 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Omaha Westside takes on second place Papillion-LaVista South. Omaha Westside fell to Millard North last week, while Papillion-LaVista South beat Kevin O'Donnell's team.
The Titans' offense has recorded 282 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Warriors have permitted only 94 on the year.
