Lowell is 7-1 against Elkton since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Devils will host the Elks  at 4:30  p.m. The timing is sure in Lowell's favor as the  squad sits on three straight wins at home while Elkton has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Lowell came out on top against Yoncalla  on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run third inning. The Devils were the clear victors by  a  16-4 margin over the Eagles.

 Kyla Dobson-McCart was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  pitched six innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Dobson-McCart was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Maddy Thurman, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  triples, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs. Those  two  triples gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Cheyanne McNamee, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 Lowell was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .407. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Elkton lost  28-7 to Oakridge on Friday.
  Amira Harper and  Amelia Holloway did some serious damage despite the final result:  Harper  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  RBI, while  Holloway  went 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riyo Torres, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs.
 Lowell is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Elkton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
 Everything went Lowell's way against Elkton when the teams last played  on Monday, as Lowell made off with  an  18-8 victory. Will the Devils repeat their success,  or do  the Elks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
