A Season-Best Effort from Hunter Cuno Leads Mexico over Moberly
Hunter Cuno produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mexico to the win on Friday. Cuno rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 64 yards.
Mexico's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4. Cuno and Mexico will square off against MICDS on Friday.

Jace Kent Dazzles in Kirksville Win
Jace Kent was instrumental in extending Kirksville's winning streak to eight on Friday. Kent did his part (and then some), rushing for 158 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 141 rushing yards.
Kent must have Fulton's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Kent last faced the Hornets back in October of 2023, he rushed for 247 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.

Drew Demint's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Drew Demint produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mexico to the win on Friday. Demint rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
On the season, Demint has averaged 15.1 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
