Williams has gone 8-2 against Hayden recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will square off against the Lobos at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Last Friday, Williams took their matchup with ease, bagging a 58-6 victory over Red Rock. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 46 points or more this season.

Williams' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Anthony Soto, who rushed for 99 yards and two TDs on only seven carries, and Mario Pedraza, who rushed for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 99 rushing yards gave Soto a new career-high.
Williams didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Soto and Pedraza. Pedraza got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Hayden humbled San Manuel with a 63-8 victory. That 55 point margin sets a new team best for the Lobos this season.
Williams better keep an eye on Kino Lorona. He was instrumental in Hayden's win, rushing for 328 yards and four scores on only 15 carries, while also picking up 68 receiving yards and one touchdown. Lorona has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last 13 times he's played. Tyler Garner was another key rusher, rushing for 112 yards and a pair of TDs.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hayden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 494 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Williams now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hayden, their record is now 5-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Williams has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 242.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hayden struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 333.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Williams was taken down by Hayden 68-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lorona, who rushed for 136 yards and three scores.
