Forge Christian extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 17-3. They put the hurt on The Academy Wildcats with a sharp 12-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Fury, who have now won 16 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Forge Christian got a massive performance out of Rio Beck, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Beck has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaedence Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Forge Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .583. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive matchups.
