The Delhi Hawks will challenge the Denair Coyotes at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. Delhi is coming into the  contest on  a  six-game losing streak.

The Hawks were dealt  a  38-6 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-6.
Meanwhile, Denair fought the good fight in their overtime  matchup against Mariposa County  last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a  hair shy of victory  and fell  24-23 to the Grizzlies.
 Delhi will have to contain  Degan Butler as he made an impact in Denair's last game. He rushed for 203 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  Butler is now averaging an impressive 103.4  rushing yards per game.  Bryson Salazar was in the mix  as well, providing Denair with two scores.
 Denair's  defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Delhi, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
 Delhi was able to grind out a solid  win over Denair in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024, winning  27-20. Will the Hawks repeat their success,  or do  the Coyotes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
