Moon Valley hasn't had much luck against Paradise Honors recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rockets will head out to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m.
Thursday just wasn't the day for Moon Valley's offense. They came up short against Thunderbird on Thursday, falling 10-0.

Antonio Lara was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Boeden Forquer, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jackson Breading-Goodrich, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Moon Valley has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Paradise Honors struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Moon Valley couldn't quite get it done against Paradise Honors in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 4-1. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
