Having just played yesterday, the Concord Academy Eagles will jump right back in to play the Hibriten Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Concord Academy is looking to tack on another W to their nine-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, Concord Academy beat East Rutherford 47-36.
Concord Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justice Alexander, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The game was Alexander's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janiya Byrd, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Hibriten put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past T.C. Roberson, posting a 68-24 win on the road. Considering Hibriten has won seven contests by more than 39 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Concord Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Hibriten, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
