Mead extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Alana Costello. The Mavericks skirted past the Broomfield Eagles 3-2 with plenty of help from Costello, who had 21 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Mead was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 22-25, 25-14, 16-14.
Mead was led to victory by Lily Kimrey and Emmy Tecu. Kimrey had seven digs and two aces, while Tecu had eight digs.
