The Meadows School Mustangs won the last time they faced the Las Vegas Wildcats, and things went their way on Thursday too. The Meadows School walked away with a 57-49 win over Las Vegas. The win made it back-to-back wins for The Meadows School.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Meadows School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Williams Quinn, who scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Naseam Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Las Vegas lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryce Davis. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayshaun Jackson, who scored nine points along with three steals.
The Meadows School now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Las Vegas, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
The Meadows School is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Franklin at 9:00 p.m. on December 27th. Franklin has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 405 points over their last six matches. Las Vegas and Galena will round out the year against one another at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. Galena is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
