Prospect Hill Academy's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Danvers 74-42.
Danvers got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Benjamin Hanas out in front who scored nine points along with eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Harven Saint-vil, who scored 14 points.
Prospect Hill Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Danvers, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Prospect Hill Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Innovation Academy at 12:45 p.m. on January 13, 2024. Danvers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Gloucester at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
