The third road contest was the charm for the Richton Rebels, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 45-35 win over Seminary on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Richton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Richton was led to victory by Nylah Robins and Ta'Nya Bradley. Robins scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals, while Bradley almost dropped a triple-double on 9 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Robins has scored at least 25% of Richton's points.
Richton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Seminary, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Richton will square off against Poplarville at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Poplarville's defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so Richton's offense will have their work cut out for Richton.
