Konawaena added to the longest winning streak in Big Island II this week by beating Kea'au, 42-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Honoka'a lost to Hilo 43-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Kamehameha Hawai'i's dynamic duo of Micah Kanehailua and Alapaki Iaea proved to be unstoppable against Kealakehe, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Kanehailua threw for 238 yards and 4 touchdowns and Iaea had 140 yards receiving. Logan Uyetake helped Kamehameha Hawai'i's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 61 yards.
The Warriors' dynamic duo of Kanehailua and Iaea proved tough for the Waveriders to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Koa Basque was a key player and the best on defense this week as Konawaena bested the Cougars. The 5-foot-8 junior.

Brandon Howes was a passing and rushing force as Cliff Walters' team topped Kea'au. He completed 10 passes for 245 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 55 yards. Howes' favorite target this week was Chase Takaki, who caught 4 passes for 132 yards.
Howes was the best running back in the league this week. Teammate Bubba Ellis-noa added to the ground attack by rushing for 43 yards.
