Southington extended the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut I West this week by beating Hall, 42-10. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Blue Knights.
Southington took down the Warriors 42-10 last week, the largest margin of any game. Stephen Barmore threw for 342 yards and four touchdowns and ran for three yards in the win.
Jordan Bell was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 112 yards on 22 carries as Hall bested Hall. Javone Bellamy also contributed to the rushing game with 66 yards on the ground.
Garry was the best wideout in the league this week as the Blue Knights defeated Frank H. Robinson Iii's team. Garry tallied six receptions for 183 yards. Anthony Bonefant helped Southington's passing attack out by catching five balls for 90 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Barmore of Southington is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1263. He has also thrown 13 touchdowns. On the ground, the Warriors' Bell has rushed for 630 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is LT Nembard. The Hall star has 37 catches for 518 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Southington takes on second place Simsbury. Last week, the Blue Knights topped Hall, while Simsbury bested New Britain.
