Bay is 2-8 against Pascagoula since November of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bay Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the Pascagoula Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Bay will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Pascagoula is ranked fifth).
Last Friday, Bay came up short against St. Patrick and fell 54-42.
Meanwhile, Pascagoula waltzed into their match last Saturday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They came out on top against Meridian by a score of 73-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Pascagoula, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
Things could have been worse for Bay, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-34 loss to Pascagoula when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Can Bay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
