The Juab Wasps put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Juan Diego Catholic at home to the tune of 58-21. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-7.
It was another big night for Ava Cuff, who scored 19 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Juab's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Wright, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.
Juab pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Juan Diego Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Juab will head out on the road to face off against Parowan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parowan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Juab is ranked 32nd). As for Juan Diego Catholic, they will be playing at home against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Delta is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
